In 2005, Grassley authored the green new deal's EPACT when he was chairman of the Senate Finance Committee. On June 28, 2005, he voted for the bill. And 2 years later, after nudging the green new deal open, on June 19, 2007, Grassley helped expand tax incentives that produces energy from alternative sources including ethanol, wind, biomass, and biodiesel. He wrote a green new deal bill.

Grassley has been in politics the entire time the CIA has been exposed over and over again as a rogue covert paramilitary trafficking narcotics and conducting assassinations.
