I read a book once, about China sailing around the whole world in early times. Chinese/Asian art was found all over the world.

It also said that the chinese navy, which they reported to be huge, stopped sailing, and reverted into itself as a nation. Putting down all oars, and no more discovery. In this book it said that this was due to many natural disasters, and they thought they were being punished.

I think the book could be; 1421 The Year China Discovered the World. Or a similar book. It had a date in the noscript/on the cover.

It is quite interesting that many natural disasters happened at once there in those times. Was it chinese people or another peoples, doing all that discovery?
I keep reading about Tartaria being in that area. Was it Tartarians travelling around the world?
