Just wave white flags... (before anyone says anything, not actually a symbol of surrender, though it is synonymous with that now!)
The white flag, stands for an aim towards a truce, peace and an open invitation for parle (aka: peace negotiation)
It is also a symbol nonaffiliated to any nation, organisation, or faith and can therefore cross national, as well as cultural and theological divides.
It is also, more importantly a war crime, under international law, be that by a government, military force, or police force, to attack anybody carrying a white flag!
Imagine the optics if, globally and simultaneously in every nation, all protests were flying the white flag!
Imagine what kind of message, that would send to our global leadership, if they were to see every nations people all unified as one, truly under one banner.
No national flags, just one unified banner.
What message that would send to those on the other side if the aisle, who accuse us of being nationalists, ie: Racists (i wish they'd find out what a dictionary is? 🤦‍♂️) and violent thugs, only to see us all peacefully protesting in huge numbers and under a white flag of peace, what impact that could have?
Aaaah! (sigh!) it's a nice dream!
