What does happiness mean to you?
When we were little, we were told that we would be happy when we grew up. Now that we are twenty, we are told that we will be happy when we have a job, a house, someone by our side, and so we spend our lives chasing something that seems increasingly distant.
But perhaps happiness is not a destination, perhaps it is not a goal to be achieved, but a feeling that comes over you without warning.
A laugh that makes your stomach ache, a sunset that surprises you on your way home on nights when you talk to someone until you lose track of time.
In moments that seem small but that one day you will remember as the greatest.
The truth is that you don't need to have everything to be happy.
You need to stop believing that happiness is always elsewhere.
Because life doesn't wait for you, and if you don't learn to recognise it now in the simple things, you risk chasing it forever without realising that you have already experienced it.

Meditiamo per addestrarci a essere presenti.
In meditazione sei seduto, immobile, e il mondo gira attorno a te come attorno a un centro.
Dopo la meditazione, sei ancora in te, al centro di tutto, e il mondo continua a gravitare attorno a questo centro.
Tutto ciò che ti circonda appartiene alla tua esperienza, tutte le persone e tutti i fenomeni sono in te.
Sei al tuo posto:
al posto di colui che è.
Sei immutabile perchè proteggi la tua mente.
Dal momento che proteggi la tua mente, il mondo smette di tirarti e spingerti.
Il mondo è lo spettacolo meraviglioso che l'anima concede a se stessa.
Qualsiasi cosa tu faccia, che tu vinca o che tu perda, sei sempre in te stesso.
Non hai bisogno di agire perché tutto è in te.
Sei immobile al centro della tua anima.
Dove sei?
Guardati!
Chi stai diventando in questo momento?
Dov'è la tua anima?
Dov'è la tua infanzia? Dove sei stato in questi ultimi tempi?
A cosa ti sei rassegnato?
Quale parte di te si è addormentata?
Svegliati!
Lascia stare tutte le teorie, tutti i metodi, tutte le religioni, tutte le idee:
cosa accade nella tua vita, qui, ora?
Dove sei?
Cosa fai della tua vita?
Non dimenticare mai il tuo bene più prezioso, il tuo unico bene:
la tua anima.
Misura l'elevatezza della tua origine e la padronanza di sé che ti impone.
Non hai forse trascurato il Bambino divino?
Non hai forse dimenticato la Promessa?
