Rooting and Security: Busting the Myth
There’s a common myth floating around that rooting your Android device automatically makes it insecure. This is simply not true. Rooting doesn’t magically give others access to your device; it’s only you, the device owner, who has control. When done right, rooting can even enhance security.🎭 🎭 🫚 ⭐ 🫚
Here’s why:
When you root your device, you’re essentially unlocking a level of control over the system. This means you can deny or grant specific apps permissions to access deeper system files. You manage what apps can or can’t do, which provides more control over what runs on your phone.
You can root your device while keeping SELinux (Security-Enhanced Linux) enforcement on, which is a security feature designed to prevent unauthorized access.
Using (cRom) inbuilt PIF / module & some close source modues like shamiko, zygisk next & trickystore modules allows your device to pass Google’s SafetyNet (the security feature designed to detect root) & PI. you can use apps like Netflix or Payment apps, which normally refuse to work compromised devices.
Rooting can also let you take control of your privacy. For example, you can block intrusive ads, nuke bloatwares, limit what information apps can access, or even block trackers that collect data on your behavior. The list goes on & on....
In short, if you know what you're doing, rooting your device doesn't necessarily weaken its security and can be just as secure, if not more, than a stock device. It’s all about how you manage root access and use the proper tools.

However, while this optimistic view is valid for users who take care, it's also essential to recognize some downsides (like potential risks, voided warranties, or the possibility of bricking your device) that come with rooting, as discussed earlier. Rooting doesn't automatically make your device less secure, but it does open up more potential for misuse, so it’s important to have a solid understanding

DeepSeek R1: Is Your Job in Danger?
AI is evolving fast, and with the release of DeepSeek R1, things are getting interesting. This new AI model is reportedly outperforming OpenAI in key benchmarks, and doing it at a fraction of the cost. But with all this power comes the big question: Is your job in danger?
DeepSeek R1 is beating OpenAI’s models in performance without the need for expensive fine-tuning. It’s affordable, open-source, and powerful, making it a game-changer for developers. You can run deepseek locally without internet too. If you’ve been avoiding AI due to high costs, this could be your chance to get in on the action. (If you don't know, Chat GPT charges $200/month for GPT pro)
AI advancements like DeepSeek R1 bring both risks and rewards. On one hand, it’s a great tool for boosting productivity. Developers can now create apps and automate tasks faster than ever. On the other, as AI takes on more work, companies may expect more from developers. But if you adapt and learn to use these tools, the future is bright. The key is to embrace the change, not fear it.
What’s great about DeepSeek R1 is that you don’t need fancy hardware. It works on regular laptops, so you can get started quickly without big upfront costs. This accessibility opens up opportunities for everyone, from solo developers to small startups.
While DeepSeek R1 might stir some controversy, especially among bigger companies like OpenAI, it’s a positive development for developers. More affordable and open-source AI means more innovation, and that’s something we can all benefit from.
AI is changing fast, but those who adapt will thrive. DeepSeek R1 is a powerful, accessible tool that can help you stay ahead of the curve. Embrace it, learn how to use it, and you'll not only survive but thrive in this evolving landscape.

Google Play Protect has rolled out new features to make your Android even safer. In 2024, it blocked millions of harmful apps and banned over 16,000 shady developer accounts. Play Protect now automatically revokes permissions for apps trying to access sensitive data like your photos, camera, microphone etc.
[Change : 2] | [Change : 3]
With these upgrades, Play Protect is your phone’s digital John Wick, keeping your Android safe from harmful apps and online threats, But here’s the twist: If you install apps from anywhere other than the Play Store, your experience may be affected. The new popup doesn't even give you an “install anyway” option anymore, so you can’t easily install apps. They're simply forcing us to install apps from playstore. But don’t worry, I've got a simple fix:
> Disable playstore
> Install your app
> Enable playstore
The above trick can bypass the installer but it won't fix your problem. Here's why

Note: This app, and others like it, won't work (even with HMA) if it detects apps installed from unknown sources. You'll need Android Faker in that case.

This module helps you easily disable unnecessary apps and services. It works on custom ROMs only, including both vanilla and GApps varient.
The module's noscript includes su -c command, so If you know how to execute noscripts, you can use it directly. If not, simply flash the module, restart your device, and tap the action button:

Volume Down (-): ENABLE
Volume Up (+): DISABLE
Note: 1) Uninstalling these system apps will cause bootloop, so don't even think of replacing disable cmd with uninstall cmd. Disabling them is a safe alternative.
2) In the extremely rare case if you experience a bootloop, just dirty-flash your ROM without wiping any data. This will resolve the issue. (This is highly unlikely to occur, I've tested this on many custom ROMs, never encountered any bootloop).

The feature currently being discussed as new google play protect change, is in fact, the existing "restricted settings" functionality from Android 13+. Google has simply renamed it. It has nothing to do with Play Integrity changes. Don't spread misinformation
