Like clockwork every year on the anniversary of his death. It’s always left out he was killed by his own platoon (sports illustrated at least acknowledged this), his anti war views he was gaining while in the army are ignored, specifically him calling the war bullshit and trying to set up a meet with Chomsky to discuss it.
It’s also left out how the Bush administration and military lied about his death initially for propaganda purposes, and how this Captain America bullshit pushing the military and Bush administrations lie as the truth is also truly disgusting.
As is the fact this goes against what the family wanted and what he wanted, it also ignores how the military attacked his family
