Elon Musk's API pricing for Twitter is absolutely deranged and detached from reality.
For perspective, at the maximums rate limit of 10 API calls per seconds it will cost $10,800 per hour. One dollar per each 4 requests. For comparison, AWS is priced at $0.05 per 10,000 requests, that same amount would cost $2,499 on Twitter under Elon Musk's prices.
A single dollar to AWS provides as many calls as $49,980 on Twitter.
Your average hobbyist bot that sends one post every hour will send 730 calls monthly, and this amounts to a total of $3,468 per year.
