SURAH AS-SAFFAT : The Aligners

91. Then he turned to their gods, and said, “Will you not eat?

92. What is wrong with you, that you do not speak?”

93. Then he turned on them, striking with the right hand.

94. And they came to him rushing.

95. He said, “Do you worship what you carve?

96. While Allah created you and that which you do?”

97. They said, “Construct a pyre for him, and throw him into the furnace.”

98. They desired to scheme against him, so We made them the lowest.

99. And he said, “I am going to my Lord—He will guide me.”

100. “My Lord, grant me [a child] from among the righteous.”
