The Serb offensive against Srebrenica began on June 11, 1995 and lasted for 22 months, killing 8,372 Bosnians, including children, women and the elderly, They ranged in age from 12 to 70 years..

On July 11, 1995, Bosnian Serb forces perpetrated the Srebrenica massacre, the slaying of more than 8,000 Bosniak (Bosnian Muslim) boys and men in Srebrenica, Bosnia and Herzegovina.

This was the worst episode of mass murder in Europe since World War II.

The Srebrenica massacre was a devastating failure of the international community to protect vulnerable civilians, and it left deep scars on the survivors and Bosnia's ethnic groups, It galvanized the West to press for a ceasefire that ended the Bosnian War, but the lack of justice and accountability has hindered reconciliation in the region.

The other side of the disaster is, they did not even let them defend themselves!!

The Prophet came to his body and said, "لن أصابك بمثلك أبدا"

- Even so, He did not devote any day to mourning.

The martyrdoms of Umar ibn al-Khattab and Uthman ibn Affan, They were also killed very oppressed, even they were greater in rank than Ali and Husayn (may Allah be pleased with them all ).
As the Arabs say, "It happened, and we can only pray for them and curse their killers."

The prophets (peace be upon them) are much closer to GOD, They were beheaded and most of them were killed en masse.

Zakariya and Yahya, they were martyred & tortured, but no prophet came after them to mourn or ask for their blood..

All we can say is "Inna lillahi wa inna ilayhi raji'un" (Indeed, to Allah we belong and to Him we will return).
