Why you should only work remote
- no retirement cut
- no transportation problem ( time and money wise )
- you don't need masters and 10 years to make the money they claim is big for a senior dev
- You're more likely to work in a place that you'll learn a lot a grow.

you can use this also http://AnoMessBot.t.me?start=MPWHMfK
to answer the majority of the questions:
"how to get started in cybersec"
> there are literally different domains of cybersec. the question kinda seems vague, but if you're up to the pentest path, check this out. there are good creators on yt, so do research on your preferred domain, and get some foundational knowledge. use this site to explore different domain creators (use vpn). and if you're serious about your path, there's always some good paid course out there, and you can find it pirated somewhere else. it all comes down to your grinding level.
sorry can't say much, i don't have the energy to answer this. but i might compile a decent post just for this

tl;dr long written opinion on being new to cybersecurity, list my experience as a reference to a "jr" role requirement list, show how much of a noob i am, yapping like a yapper

have you tackled the basics like auth, db stuff, APIs ? idk what level you at to recommend projects, but consult roadmap.sh
i used to be wild, and literally would try anything. back then, i tried creating a toy OS with native bootloader, a 2d game engine based on webgl, a programming language with its own interpreter,... those days are long gone i guess. all my attempts were sporadic.
we are living in an era where you have a coding buddy who's also good at planning, architecture, and all the stuff you need. so consult that too. you got this
