While many of us, for obvious reasons, find the protests in France encouraging; I would just say that I instinctively suspect chaotic and violent protests that do not appear to be adhering to a coherent strategy. Meaning: these are ultimately training exercises for the security forces in counter-insurgency and urban warfare — which coincidentally act as an insurgency generator. This is destabilisation, polarisation, militancy-creation, and tend to only empower the state further to fight their own citizens. We have already seen the French Interior Minister alleging that there have been groups of rioters specifically interested in murdering police officers; which is not something you say when you are trying to de-escalate or calm the situation, but rather when you expect and intend for the situation to worsen. The future of Europe is violent, in my opinion.

Dissent is all "Russian-backed," "Russian agitprop", "Russian infiltration". Typically, if this was Latin America, Africa, or the Middle East, we would expect to see violent crackdowns designed to incite violent opposition and militancy. Untracked small arms from Ukraine (Poland), could show up in the hands of suddenly formed radical groups, but we'll see whether or not Europe will get the full destabilisation program right away, or implemented gradually
Obviously, this would normally be a prelude to violent intervention by the US, either directly or more often covertly; perhaps through the fabrication of Muslim extremist groups. Defiance of the US and the owners and controllers of global capital by individual nations is perilous; there is a tremendous need for cooperation and unity between African Muslim countries and the broader Muslim world, as well as across the Global South as a whole

🇹🇩 Chad nationalized all assets owned by Exxon Mobil
Chad has nationalized all the assets and rights including hydrocarbon permits and exploration and production authorisations that belonged to a subsidiary of Exxon Mobil, Chad's energy and hydrocarbons ministry said in a statement.
Exxon Mobil said in December that it had closed the sale of its operations Chad and Cameroon to London-listed Savannah Energy in a $407 million deal, but the Chadian government contested the agreement, saying the final terms were different from what Exxon Mobil had presented.
It warned that it may ask courts to block Savannah's purchase of Exxon's assets in the country and take further steps to protect its interests.
Exxon's assets included a 40% stake in Chad's Doba oil project, which comprises seven producing oilfields with combined output of 28,000 barrels per day

Malaysian PM Anwar Ibrahim visited Saudi Arabia and was snubbed by MBS; this is not good. Saudi Arabia, the UAE, and the Gulf States are quickly emerging as a force in the Muslim world for enabling our nations to decouple from the West and carve out a more independent and sovereign future. Malaysia should be building and enhancing ties with the Khaleej, economically and politically; it does not bode well that MBS would not give Anwar the time of day. It is worth mentioning that former PM Muhyiddin Yassin (whom the current PH government is — in my opinion — persecuting to undermine the opposition) was welcomed by MBS and even escorted inside the Ka'abah when he visited.

France Slammed For ‘Excessive Force’ Against Protests
The French government has used disproportionate force against demonstrators protesting pension reforms in violation of their freedom of assembly and expression, Council of Europe Commissioner for Human Rights Dunja Mijatovic claimed.
Mijatovic described the circumstances of the pension protests as “concerning,” adding that “sporadic acts of violence by some demonstrators or other reprehensible acts committed by others during a demonstration cannot justify the excessive use of force by state agents.”
While some “violent incidents” have taken place, including against police, they are “not sufficient to deprive peaceful demonstrators of enjoying the right of freedom of assembly,” she said, adding that the French authorities must protect peaceful protesters.

Look for US aggression and hostile propaganda to increase against Belarus. Potential spillover conflict is brewing in at least 3 countries right now: Belarus, Georgia, and Moldova.
Kamala Harris is undertaking a trip to Africa in a further attempt to sway the continent's leaders away from partnering with the economic powerhouse that does not have a history of imposing subjugation, militarisation, weaponised debt, and subservience, in favour of the economic powerhouse with a long history of doing all these things.
"Vice President Harris is expected to visit Ghana, Tanzania and Zambia as she focuses on economic development, climate change, food security and a rising youth population." Here is what that means:
"Economic development" = More predatory investment, loans, and US access to African resources
"Climate change" = Stalling industrial development in Africa
"Food security" = Greater penetration into Africa by American Agribusiness to ensure that countries cannot feed themselves
"Rising youth population" = Trying to tap into the human resources of Africa as workers and consumers to offset the miserable demographic collapse of the West

While on the face of it, this would seem like a good thing — and perhaps it is —Brazil has a rather inconsistent history with independence and defiance of the US. Even the Left wing darling Lula has been looking compromised lately. So, a Chinese-financed semiconductor industry in Brazil could be fairly easily commandeered by the Americans as part of a hemispheric supply chain system. Unfortunately, any Chinese industrial investment in Latin America would be similarly vulnerable.

Lula to seek Chinese semiconductor technology, investment in Beijing
Brazil will seek Chinese technology and investment to develop a semiconductor industry in the South American country despite U.S. attempts to discourage association with China in this area, a senior presidential adviser told Reuters.

One of the most preposterous things that was said repeatedly during the congressional hearings on the banning of Tiktok was that the alleged threats posed by the app had achieved the otherwise impossibility of uniting the congress.
First of all, they were not united by the threat of Tiktok, they were united by the lobbyists of Meta. Secondly, they are united all the time; the division is theatre. They are united in unconditional support for Israel. They are united in shovelling hundreds of billions of dollars to weapons manufacturers on the pretext of Ukraine. They are united in insulating banks from the consequences of degenerate gambling addiction and negligence. They are united over the right of corporations to price gouge under the pretext of inflation...on and on. The US congress is no less a one party system than the CCP in China.
