It should be noted that Anwar has long said that he would repeal the sedition act and the restrictive laws around media offences...now he is utilising those same laws

Food theft has skyrocketed across Europe. It is most often done by people who suffer most from the increase in electricity and fuel bills: Pensioners, the disabled, students. In France, food prices rose by 14.5%; Germany, 22%. Baltic countries; by 25-30%. https://www.lemonde.fr/economie/article/2023/03/26/l-inflation-provoque-une-flambee-des-vols-de-nourriture-dans-les-magasins-partout-en-europe_6167008_3234.html

🇰🇪 Protests in Kenya amid manifestations ban
Kenyan police on Monday fired teargas and a water cannon at stone-throwing supporters of opposition leader Raila Odinga during the second consecutive week of protests against the government and high food prices.
The clashes broke out as Odinga's convoy passed through a neighbourhood in the capital Nairobi. Hundreds of supporters had gathered around the convoy shouting "Ruto must go," in reference to President William Ruto.
Odinga, who lost to Ruto in last August's election, is seeking to channel frustrations about inflation into a durable movement against the president. He has vowed to press ahead with protests every Monday and Thursday, despite police banning the demonstrations.
In separate incidents on Monday, unidentified people vandalised a property belonging to Odinga's family and another owned by former president Uhuru Kenyatta, who supported Odinga in last year's election.

The Patriot Act on steroids: D.C. Uniparty wants to use anti-TikTok legislation as Trojan horse for censorship and surveillance
Beltway lawmakers are setting up a smokescreen to curtail rights.
We are going to be seeing an epic, and undoubtedly savage, battle to determine dominion over Africa in the next few years. Insha'Allah, I hope to talk about this more in future videos. There are many hopeful signs that individual leaders are turning away from the West, and intent on charting an independent course; and I would like to err on the side of optimism — but history makes that risky. Which way Africa goes will determine whether or not Western-centric power's life span is extended or shortened. It is imperative that connections, bridges, and networks of support and collaboration are built between the Muslim world and Africa, as well as other states across the Global South.
