Spotted in Idaho. The solution to living in poverty? Die in Ukraine

The US is claiming that they have intelligence that Iran is poised to conduct imminent attacks across the Middle East — days after mending ties with Saudi Arabia and while making plans to end the war in Yemen. This can only be interpreted as America threatening the region, in my opinion

TUNISIA PRESIDENT to IMF: "You want us to sell Tunisia? Tunisia is not for sale. Foreign diktats that will lead to more poverty are unacceptable. The world must understand... human beings are not figures or a set of numbers for subtraction and addition."

African State Eyes Turn To BRICS — Media

Tunisia is considering becoming a member of the BRICS economic bloc, the spokesman for the pro-presidential ‘July 25 Movement’ told Russia’s RIA Novosti news agency on Sunday.

Mahmoud bin Mabrouk cited unnamed sources in the North African country’s government as saying the option of joining the alliance – comprising Brazil, Russia, India, China, and South Africa – is being considered among the other possibilities.

“I have information that Tunisia is seriously considering joining the BRICS group,” bin Mabrouk said.

ommercial real estate heading for crisis worse than 2008, Morgan Stanley says

A report from Morgan Stanley predicts an economic crash for the US commercial real estate sector worse than the 2008 financial crisis.

"Commercial real estate, already facing headwinds from a shift to hybrid/remote work, has to refinance more than half of its mortgage debt in the next two years," wrote Lisa Shalett, chief investment officer for Morgan Stanley Wealth Management.

Shalett said the market faces a "huge hurdle" as analysts forecast сommercial property prices could fall as much as 40% "rivaling the decline during the 2008 financial crisis."

"These kinds of challenges can hurt not only the real estate industry, but also entire business communities related to it," she added.

Earlier in February, large US office landlords Pimco's Columbia Property Trust and Brookfield chose to default on its loans rather than refinance its debt because of weak demand for office space

This graphic suggests who the real primary targets are for the sanctions against Russia and the war in Ukraine. It would not be inaccurate to conclude that the word "Russia" in most mainstream and government rhetoric is actually just a euphemism for "German manufacturing"; as in, "we must defeat Russia, we must destroy Russia's economy"

Germany, and Europe generally, barely survived the winter this year by slashing industrial manufacturing, and because of historic lows in the price of LNG largely attributed to China's Covid shutdown, as well as unexpectedly mild weather conditions. None of these factors can be relied upon next year. I don't know, frankly, how they will be able to replenish their reserves over the summer, unless Olaf Scholtz marries the daughter of an emir and Ursula van der Leyden becomes the 4th or 5th wife of an Emirati shaykh.

Polls indicate that nearly 40% of Austrians oppose sanctions against Russia, and there have been significant protests across Germany over the country's involvement in the war
