It is true that two wrongs don't make a right, as we love to point out to the people we have wronged.

But one wrong doesn't make a right, either.

People who have been wronged will attempt to right the wrong; they would not be people if they didn't. They can rarely afford to be scrupulous about the means they will use. They will use such means as come to hand. Neither, in the main, will they distinguish one oppressor from another, nor see through to the root principle of their oppression.

The great divide

In my opinion, the narrative being pushed by Israel and the American Right wing, that Iran is behind the Hamas incursion, is opportunistic spin; and it more or less confirms for me that Iran had no significant involvement.

The Global South is Pro-Palestinian

All colonized people recognize the West's outrage over Hamas; all Black people in America recognize it too.

It is not moral outrage, it is indignation at the dignity of the oppressed. They are enraged when their victims fight back.

Basically, the Palestinians are "uppity"

Boycotting Israeli companies and products is obviously an option, but I would suggest selecting any business that you already patronize, and requesting that they take a public stance for Palestine, and proceed accordingly from there depending upon the response.

Please everyone: Do not ever, ever belittle any action that you do for this, or any cause. Particularly if instead of doing that action you belittle, you end up doing nothing. That is 100% from Shaytaan.

Europeans, especially Germans, should have at least the foresight to understand that this Winter will be even more bleak than last year, if they allow their leaders to support #GazaGenocide.

The continuation, and potential escalation of this conflict is going to spike energy prices to the point that industrial production will collapse across the continent.

Even if you don't have the moral values to do the right thing, you should at least understand how this negatively impacts your self-interest.

Your leaders are betraying you.

Malaysia steps up de-dollarization efforts, aims to launch new currency

The Malaysian government will revisit the idea of creating an Islamic gold dinar and using it as a reserve currency to boost trade with Islamic countries and weaken the impact of the US dollar on Malaysia's economy, Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim said.

The Islamic Gold Dinar, a project aimed at restoring the gold standard, was first proposed in 2001. The main objective of this initiative is to create a gold-backed international currency for use in the Muslim world.

Ibrahim added that the use of the gold dinar would give Malaysia an alternative to the dollar, which would subsequently "strengthen the power of the country's economy".

Earlier, Ibrahim noted that Indonesia, Thailand and China had agreed to use the Malaysian ringgit in trade with Malaysia.
