Eggnog
-250ml of milk
-250ml of cream
-3 eggs, separated
-3 tbsps sugar
-120ml of brandy
-60ml of whisky
-60ml of rum
-60ml genever (optional)
-A pinch of nutmeg and cinnamon and vanilla if you want
Beat egg yolks and sugar until pale like mayonnaise. Mix the liquors and slowly add them to the eggs. Add milk.
Beat cream until fluffy. Make sure to not overbeat the cream otherwise you'll end up with butter. If you are feeling lazy, just pour the cream with milk without whipping.
Gently mix the cream into the egg mixture.
Whip the egg whites until stiff. Then fold it in the egg mixture: Grate some nutmeg and add some ground cinnamon and maybe vanilla to taste.
Refrigerate for at least 3 hours before drinking.
Recipe yields 1,5L of nog
