What do y'all foresee happening in the modded community 5-10 years from now?

This has recently come to though in my head when thinking about forever worlds and now thinking about it. what felt like 5+ years of development for some mods I've been waiting for was really 2 1/2.

Now with 1.22 on the horizon later this year I am wondering, what will the modding community be like within 5-10 years? who will go and who will stay? who will replace or be replaced?
