Mod that adds a penalty for dying? (Forge 1.20.1)

I'm looking for a mod that adds a penalty for dying, but without dropping items. I like playing with Keep Inventory enabled, but I still want death to have some consequences.

Ideally, the mod would apply some kind of debuff—like losing max health temporarily, getting a weakness effect, or something similar. Does anyone know of a mod that does this for Forge 1.20.1?

Also, Mediumcore doesn't suit me, it doesn't work well when the player has more than the default of 10 hearts.

develop the mods you want to see yeah more power to you. however in my mind, i COME to magic mods expecting magic bonemeal, i expect utility and usecases. not to mention everything is a shortcut if you squint: teleporter spells? magic walking! the weapon spells? magic netherite sword!
