EMC packs that actually use EMC

I'm really trying to look for a pack that just lets me actually catalogue every item, but every pack thinks its so clever not having emc for planks or steel or fucking *cobblestone stairs* like ohh u got me i'm gonna break your progression with infinite cobblestone stairs.

Anyway rant aside is there actually a pack that uses EMC like this instead of just using it to cover for a lack of creativity on resource generation? I feel like if you're aren't letting the player actually replicate things its a giant waste of time, I understand it for large machines but the fact that these mods won't let me clone basic architecture or seeds is absolutely untenable, i can't imagine they're all like this and surely i am just missing something

I built an arena out of obsidian for my Blood Magic summing circle, not realizing that the lighting strikes caused by the ritual initiation could create portals. Now the pigmen horde is coming through and I'm fighting the summoned creature in the Nether.

Any mods that allow you to make netherite items with JUST netherite?

I find it a bit frustrating that I HAVE to have diamonds for netherite. i got a lotta gold and a nether mining mech, and I feel like if I have the resources to make netherite items with netherite only (in the same patterns as any other item), I should be able to considering just how hard netherite is to get. So is there any mod like that? Also willing to try out mods that have different crafting methods (such as Tinkers Construct) so long as they allow me to only use netherite for the items

Is there a way in 1.12.2 to make a quarry?

I want to make a literal quarry in my magic only modpack to clear chunks of terrain. The mods i use are thaum,botania,blood magic,astral sorcery,roots and embers rekindled, if there are other interesting magic mods or any other mod that does quarry please share them!
P.s. i need something to literally clear chunks and not the thaum bore, for building purposes
