My friend made a mod for minecraft whichs adds the 1.13 command tab autocomplete to 1.8.9

He calls it BackportedCompletions (mods please inform me if this counts as advertisement as I'm not sure and saw others advertising their own mods).

If the mod gets enough traction I might be able to convince him to make it for 1.12.2 so it can be paired with modpacks for that version.

What are some (content) mods that you'll never get tired of seeing in modpacks?

Title says it all. I'll start: Quark, simply because it integrates so well with the base game already.

How do you approach learning new mods in large modpacks?

I've recently started playing a comprehensive modpack, and while it's incredibly engaging, the sheer number of unfamiliar mods is a bit overwhelming. I find myself spending a lot of time in JEI and reading through questbooks, but I still feel like I'm missing out on the full potential of some mods.

For those of you who have navigated large modpacks before, how do you typically approach learning and integrating new mods into your gameplay? Do you focus on one mod at a time, follow the questline strictly, or have another strategy?

I'm looking for advice on how to make the learning process more manageable and enjoyable. Any tips or resources you could share would be greatly appreciated!
