Are there mods that make some days "peaceful?"
Not necessarily turning the gamemode to peaceful, as that despawns hostile mobs.
I'm looking for a mod that makes it safe for me to take a stroll and do some fishing without a creeper blowing up behind me on certain days.
Found it!

That's a really accurate name for the mod I'm looking for, but it's kinda obscure to search
It's more of a difficulty switch mod. But I'm gonna try to find some mods that prevents mobs from despawning

Maybe these two combined could work. Gonna test it out, still but I'll leave this post as: answered

I'm in a tricky place with modding right now. (semi rant)
Pretty much I just don't know what I want to play. It sounds super simple, but it's bumming me out. I want a solid tech-based pack with a good end game goal. But every time I try a new one, its either "man, here I go setting up a fission reactor again" or "alright time to get Bee's going again" or something along those lines. I'm just kind of burned out on the same old mods over and over in every pack. But then the kicker is I'll try to go play something that seems a little different, and 9/10 times they just turn into absolute grind fests of micro crafting and super slow progression. Even new mods like Oritech come out, and are really cool, but they still just kind of boil down to the same thing. Insert item and get ____ out. Obviously the answer here is that I'm just bored and a burnt out, but the problem is that I still find myself wanting to play. Just every time I try to get into a new pack, I just lose steam so fast. Nothing has grabbed me and kept me pushing in a while, I just cant hit a stride.
Anyways, just wanted to vent a bit. I love modded minecraft dearly and it's kinda sad that I'm finding myself drifting away form it. If anyone has a pack that they really think might reignite the fire, please let me know! I'm desperate! (lol not really, its not that serious)
