I want Factorio but she just wants to dig holes.

Looking for a modpack recommendation. She wants to dig tunnels and build tunnels and just be a diggy diggy dwarf. I don't want to make her totally obsolete with gizmos, gadgets, automations, etc. I want GTNH. How do I please both of us? We had a good time in E2E and ATM for a while. Is there a modpack where mining and exploring underground stays useful for a longer time?

Star Technology, an actually good Modern Greg Tech Pack, any Tips?

I started playing this pack sort of expecting an Omnifactory/Nomifactory play style.

But I had to adjust my attitude quickly. There's little "hand-holding" here (that I've noticed) and the pack expects you to know the Greg Tech mod (and to a lesser extent Create in the early game).

The ability Create gives you for cheaper plates at the start is nice but not overpowered.

And I love the fact that your pushing to make the Stargate rather than some obscure metal or singularity.

Certainly not as hard core as GTNH but a really interesting and challenging experience.

Anyone have experience with this pack that has some useful tips, feel free to mention them (especially on good Power options to try for MV/HV)
