Why is Minecraft so Choppy even with a Higher Spec'd Device?

Minecraft modded had always been slow and laggy for me but I've recently bought a Surface Laptop Studio 2 that has an Intel Core i7 with 64GB Memory, GeForce RTX 4060, and 1TB SSD. It runs Red dead redemption 2, Assassins Creed Origins, Far cry 6, ETC perfectly fine with high frames. However Java Minecraft with just 33 mods installed is damn near impossible to play single player let alone a LAN server. It's so frustrating that even after buying high spec'd devices Minecraft runs like garbage. What can I do to fix this issue?

Is there a mod to manipulate world gen?

I was wondering if there was any mod that allowed you to A: allows you to enable or disable the spawing of specif biomes in your world, B: modify the rarity of biome spawns, and C: change the size of each biome individually instead of just an analog "large biomes" mode.


I don't have to have all the features but are their any mods that allow you to do that?

MODPACK Suggestions

Hello everyone im currently hosting a Minecraft server for my friends and we have about 8-12 people playing but we cant seem to find a pack we like, and im not the best at most of em but we have tried skyblock and people wernt too keen on it and we tried better MC and it kept crashing our server, currently we are on Ciscos Medieval RPG but people think its way too hard so im looking for something that has something for everyone, tech magic and exploration/combat
