"Enlightend" has no config to turn off the end dimension's patreon message.

I've heard a lot about MCreator mods being notorious for not having reliable bug tracking / not having config files. But iirc, Enlightend has configs, just no config for this specific function.

Now trust me, I am ALL for mod creators getting the support they deserve. Modpacks are only possible because of mod developers. However, something seems a bit fishy and bad-faith about inserting an ad for your patreon into a core function of the game and NOT adding a config file to disable it... not to mention, it's hell for modpack developers, considering they are already supposed to be giving tons of credit to modders already.

I've also seen some interactions between the dev and a few community members regarding this small issue. The way the respond rubs me the wrong way about whether or not it'll be fixed in the future - or if they're even willing to.

If i'm wrong, and there is some secret Enlightend config for this somewhere, feel free to correct me. I've looked everywhere for it and cannot find it. The mod is high quality (imo) and has stunning textures, and this is the only thing stopping me from putting it in my modpack.

If I stop all the mobs in a mod from spawning, will that completely eliminate their “lag footprint,” or will the TPS still be noticeably higher due to all of them trying to spawn constantly or whatever?

Probably a dumb question to anyone who knows anything about anything, but I ask because I plan to have a bunch of mobs in my mod pack that spawn independent of each other (like some only spawn at night, day, on odd-numbered days, every 5 days, etc.), and in doing so, I’m hoping I can have like way more mob mods than any mod pack deserves without suffering from the lag of all those mods.

Buuuut if disabling spawns will still leave me with a significant amount of increased TPS lag, I’m just not going to bother trying to set up a system like this, lol

How to make a pack grindy: (Project Ozone Skyblock 2)

This is the NON-expert mode. What is going through modern dev's heads when they think this is fun?

1 spirited crystal needs 1 emerald + 9 niotic blocks (9 diamonds + 9 blazing blocks (9 blaze rod + 9 hardened blocks ( 9 steel + 9 gold)

So in summary: 1 spirited crystal = 1 emerald + 9 diamonds + 81 blaze rod + 729 steel +729 gold

Instantly deleted the pack at that point...

I'm trying to find a mod that adds a "always lit Redstone lamp"

My friends and I played a 1.20.1 modpack that had a recipe for a redstone lamp that was always lit without the need of redstone. I can't find it, and I'm going insane. If anybody knows of a mod or mods that would help with either lighting lamps in a non-obstructive way or one that just adds them being on would be very helpful!
