WARNING: Biomes O' Plenty has a gamebreaking bug making nether fortresses extremely rare

I started a semi-vanilla playthrough and tried to avoid going creative as much as I could.

After several hours of exploring the nether I couldn't find a fortress. I decided to cheat using the /locate command and, to my dismay, upon arriving at the coordinates there was nothing there. Just a weird huge empty rectangle.

So I gave myself creative mode and after flying for THOUSANDS of blocks in many directions... still no fortress.

I was almost convinced no fortress could spawn at all bug after 3 thousand blocks and many /locate commands, I managed to find one.

Upon looking this issue up it seems others have experienced it. This should be fixed, nether fortresses are essential for game progression and as it is now you can't realistically find one without commands.

Sophisticated backpacks nerf

Is there any way to only allow a player to carry one backpack, it seems like the backpacks are super op especially since they’re basically better shulker boxes and can be obtained super early

Mods that make bases essential and unkwown territory dangerous?

Im planning on making a server with friends where we have an army and attack each other, but i want nights and darkness to be dangerous abd making bases essential to survival. Can be a mod that makes surviva harder or anything like that.
Also if you know any mod that may help with the idea of the server we want to play please tell me, really want to create like a tiny nation.
