I created a mod that balances the entire Apotheosis with a config.

I've noticed that Apotheosis is a very unbalanced mod. Creating a thousand-file json package for Apotheosis and Apotheotic Additions was a challenging task, and I often got confused, so I studied the code and created a mod to balance the mod through configuration.

This mod uses mixins to modify the code of the Placebo, Apotheosis, and Apotheotic Additions libraries.

🎯 What does this mod cover?

Full Coverage

All 163 gems (21 Apotheosis + 142 Apotheotic Additions)
All stats — damage, speed, armor, health, movement speed
All gem enchantments
All potion effects — duration, boost, cooldown
Special bonuses — bloody\_arrow, leech\_block
Loot quality — number of affixes

You can see what can be configured in the mod denoscription. You can configure the mod and addon separately, adjusting the drop rate. The multiplier also affects ailments.

modpack suggestions?

I want to play something unique, not these thousands of "RPG + Create Vanilla++++++++++" modpacks. I want a really unique survival experience, like a challenge of surviving in conditions of limited resources and constant danger. I liked surviving in the Maze mod (which makes the whole world look like a bedrock labyrinth), Winter Resque is interesting, but I'm tired of Create. Compact Claustrophobia is also interesting, but I don't feel like of grinding.

Haven't played MC in.... 12 years? Looking for modpack suggestions!

Watched CarlSagan42's playthrough of RLCraft and it made me wanna check out what else is out there. Turns out... a lot! Too much in fact for me to be able to tell what's what, what's good, and what's outdated lol, so I'm hoping I can get some recommendations.

Context: I play exclusively solo offline, while I don't care TOO much what version of MC the pack is on, I would prefer a more recent version so I can also experience all the additions that have been made in the past 12 years. PC is moderately beefy, 32gb ram, 12gb vram, should be able to handle most packs I think?

Non-negotiables (definitely want these things):

Magic - I don't care too much what KIND of magic, but the more mystical, magical stuff the better, ideal would be a mix of usable magic items you can find/craft and magical stuff you can build
RPG elements - I don't need an entire RPG overhaul, but some sort of skill system would be nice. MOST important is things like trinkets, bigger focus on exploration, more bosses and mobs, etc. Basically shifting the progression of itemization closer to something like Terraria or Necesse, with cool relics/gadgets and whatnot.
Smoother combat - The vanilla bonk combat is... aight. I've seen some dark souls/Arpg combat overhauls that look surprisingly smooth. Don't necessarily need THAT much of an overhaul but something with more depth than the classic kite 'n bonk would be nice.
More biomes, realms, etc. - I remember seeing things like The Aether, and apparently since then there have been some pretty high quality realm mods. Once again, the more the better!

Nice to Have's (not mandatory but highly desired):

Long Term progression - Not necessarily looking for things like Gregtech or to turn minecraft into Factorio, but I don't mind a bit of grind as long as there's decent horizontal progression while grinding the vertical progression ladder. (new trinkets, magic, etc often cover horizontal progression fairly well in games like Necesse and Terraria)
Up to date MC version - If it's not on the most recent major patch I'm not gonna immediately veto the pack or anything, especially if it's otherwise EXACTLY what I'm looking for, but I've been out of the game for a long time, so I'd like to be able to also experience the new vanilla additions the game has gotten since then.

Beyond that, I don't really care what other mods are in the pack, it can also have technology, or survival elements. These are just the things I'm the most interested in. RPG elements, trinkets/gadgets, magic, exploration focused, new bosses and mobs, new biomes, new realms.
