Hello, I recently purchased Minecraft for Java with the intend on playing mods with it. However, I am completely and utterly overwhelmed.
I understand that there are different mods that only work with different launchers and game versions. How is it possible to find mods that work with the same launcher/version? I’ve installed curse-forge, but I am still utterly confused and in need of help, either with this or a general overview.

FTB StoneBlock 4... Currently Soft Locked with over 50 hours in
(solo world) I'm in the portal vault and have clipped into solid blocks when messing around in the duct crawling part... I cannot move and I cannot die, disabled auto feeding and waited to die but the damn vault literally won't let me die and just mocks me instead (unlike the first create vault that was full of archevokers for some reason)... Tried going into the playerdata folder and changing the pos in my corresponding UUID.dat but it seems to ignore the change and load me in the exact same position.... Any help would be appreciated.
