Which stoneblock version is the best, according to you and why?

I've played all stoneblock modpacks, and here's my ranking:

1. stoneblock 1 - In my opinion, the best experience. I really liked it, it's large and kinda basic. Nether isn't unchanged, same with end which I love. It ends with avaritia but what I love, is that the infinity catalyst has EMC, which makes endgame bearable, and makes it not that grindy.

2. stoneblock 3 - Nice pack, I liked the gameplay, but the endgame is grindy and makes you afk a lot. I recall that it had the sifting system focused around create, which was nice.

3. stoneblock 4 - I haven't finished it yet, the lore stuff is nice but I'd like a pack that is really similar to sb1, this one diverts A LOT from the original form. It is understandable, since the same idea 4th time would be boring, but I am not in favor of lore in minecraft modpacks.

4. stoneblock 2 - The same thing as stoneblock 1, but with the mining dimension. I remember that I haven't had any fun, and didn't finish it.

My problem with exploration QOL type mods

Ever since I've been playing modded mc, I've had this issue where I want to pick up a modpack for a while, download/create one with all the QOL mods I want like mini maps, world maps, distant horizons, or world gen mods like tectonic, terralith, or a biome mod, and then struggle to get into it? This happens to me almost every time, and the reason is because (personally) I get overwhelmed with the freedom of choice. It looks beautiful seeing 200 chunks in the distance, and its so nice to have a minimap with preloaded chunks, but then I find myself wandering around for 4 hours just looking at the minimap, expecting to see a perfect spot for a base that never comes. I think that without these mods (again, just personal opinion, the mods are great themselves.) I am forced to hunker down and start creating things at my own pace, and slowly morph an imperfect area into the ideal living space/base. When I can see every biome, mountain, and river, the game doesn't feel as small and personal. Even large scale world gen like tectonic can make any starter home or base feel too tiny compared to huge mountain ranges and thousand block wide plains. The experience is still very fun, but for a deep Minecraft playthrough, in my tastes, I think I'll start leaving these mods out. Anybody else feel this way?
