Why is there no soulbinding for 1.20.1
I have been looking for a mod that allows soul binding pets like you can do in rlcraft for the last week (21 hours only including searching) but whenever i gind something that even slightly looks like it will work it's either not on curseforge or even forge in general or not on 1.20.1 hell i can't find any for 1.19 at all

Really upset at Cobbleverse rn
Im gonna be honest this is just kind of a ventpost. I was looking for a cobblemon modpack to play with my girlfriend and two of my friends. We come across Cobbleverse. Looks really cool, has all the addons, the full pokedex, etc etc. No big modded stuff added like mek or whatever, which was a sticking point for one of my friends. You love to see it. There's some really cool stuff advertised on their page too!

Wow, like, they mapped the regions? That's really impressive, I can't wait to play it!
Ok, so I try to download the pack, the latest version is only on modrinth which is a little annoying but hey it's not their fault the whole curseforge process is so lengthy. I've never downloaded full packs on modrinth before though so I'm getting kind of confused on where to download the server pack. Or what the hell a .mrpack file even is. The modrinth page says both "Client and Server" are supported though so i figure i just have to figure out how to open it and upload everything to my server.

I find out a .mrpack is literally just a renamed .zip, so I get that sorted, upload everything to my server, aaaand it only has two mods! Okay, somethings clearly wrong here, maybe my download is just corrupted? Download it again, check, nope, this is just a normal modpack. Just a normal client version (if you're curious, the reason there were only two mods is because most of them are linked in a file stored in the modpack zip, which your launcher of choice will read and install all the mods from). I look around on their wiki, apparently you're just supposed to? Install it yourself??? And then take the files on your launcher and then upload them to a server? And then manually tweak some things?? I'd never seen a pack like this before and when I asked on their discord about it, I was unironically getting gaslit that "it's just like every modpack!" Nope just objectively wrong but okay whatever. Sounds like a really high effort modpack so if the devs cut some corners here instead of making a proper server pack hey, that's fine, I'll give them the benefit of the doubt.
After setting everything up, the modpack works just fine, I load in, aaand... this isn't Kanto? Or any region. This is Minecraft Forest from hit game Minecraft. And I guess they could NOT keep up with the times because instead of ftbquests or what have you all of the in game documentation is a 10-page minecraft book. With commands to just straight up cheat in it. So I guess my server players can just do that whenever they want I guess. Thankfully I can in fact trust my three server members, but it did mean I wasn't making any bigger of a server.
I spawned in with a map telling me where the first gym was, and after walking thousands of blocks with my Very Distracted Friends to what we all presume will be an Actual Town, we come across: Brock's gym, just kind of sitting there, in the middle of the wilderness. And on my way there, I also notice just a complete lack of Jade, Cobblemon Integrations (ig because they HAD to use rei instead of jei for some reason) or what have you. So any of the modded blocks added, fuck if I know what they are. Had to check f3 to figure out I was looking at whatever a Saccharine Log is.
I beat Brock and just kind of dick around for a couple hours while waiting for my friends to grind 20 levels for their very first gym, who has like 5 pokemon all around that level for some reason. I eventually go to bed, and when I wake up, I decide to ask the discord if the gameplay loop is in fact just kind of Walk In A Line Until You Reach Structure simulator because I find that really really boring especially with just normal vanilla generation and am starting to think the modpack isn't for me. ragebaiting me about it? Like dude if you like walking simulator that's your god given right, I don't and felt kind of jebaited by the way the pack was advertised. Then the fucking lead dev starts deleting my messages for being "rude" and does the whole thing thing that discord mods do where they're really weird and cagey about what you actually did wrong and refuse to actually point to what you said that was wrong. If you've been on discord for a while, you know what I'm talking about. Honestly I was a bit worried I genuinely was being rude without realizing it but once he started like being avoidant about what I actually said I was like ooohhhh ok.
Anyways that's it. Kinda mad bc my friend spend ALLLL day yesterday playing and now I really want to drop the pack. I guess I could go report them for the misleading advertising but whatever maybe it's my fault for having the wrong expectations and I'd rather just bitch about it anyways. And like. any of these issues on their own would but fine but altogether just puts a really bad taste in my mouth. If you got this far, do you guys have any suggestions for 1.7 cobblemon packs?

Hello, I'm looking for a modpack to play AGAINST my friends
Like the noscript says, I want a experience not like simple COD or cool weapons to fight with but more like "strategy"? Like armies and stuff. Like I make my team with some of my friends and the rest make their teams and we each build and craft our means to conquer eachother, sort of like that.
It's probably too specific but I'll appreciate any modpacks that falls even a bit loosely in that category. Thanks for the responses in advance!
