Returning to Enigmatica 2 Expert – Original vs Unofficial vs Extended?

Hi everyone,

I’ve previously played **Enigmatica 2 Expert** and **ATM9**, but in both cases I only made it to around the **mid-game** before stopping. This time, I really want to **fully complete a modpack from start to finish**.

I’m thinking about going back to my roots with **Enigmatica 2 Expert**, but before committing, I wanted to ask the more experienced players here:

**Which version should I play?**

* Original **E2E**
* **E2E Unofficial**
* **E2E Extended**

What are the main differences in terms of balance, stability, and overall experience? Which one would you recommend for someone who actually wants to *finish* the pack?

Also, if you have **modpack recommendations**, please don’t hesitate to suggest them. I genuinely trust this subreddit’s advice.

Have a great day, and thanks in advance! 🙏

Looking for easy progression based tech modpacks.

Ik tech packs have always been pretty much synonymous with the expert genre so this might be a big ask and don't get me wrong I love the challenge of an expert pack but it does tend to get pretty tiring when that's all you play as a tech mod player so I'm looking for something lighter for a change. Are there any modpacks that maintain the tech progression but without the grind and tedious multistep crafts? Or even ones that you just found particularly a breeze to complete?
