The Cave Dweller opened a Pandoras Box and ruined minecraft horror
So , we all know the cave dweller , that one that some random guy named Gargin and the video showcasing it got viral and managed to get 5.5+ MILLION views , but , the little cave dweller opened a pandora box SOOOO big , it fucking destroyed minecraft horror
First , minecraft horror was fairly niche , horror mods were usually survival first , horror second ( take Scape&Run : Parasites as an example) , BUT , when the dweller dropped , it was kinda like real horror , not really , BUT , after that , everyone and their mother started copying it , plus , the "new" minecraft horror meta is shakey png that plays ear rape
now , your opinion is your opinion on these mods , if you like them , i don't care , BUT , they are buggy , and they usually are so unfair I Wanna Be The Guy looks like Hello Kitty Island Adventure in terms of fairness cause theres no way to avoid them and unlike what mojang rules are ( whether you like them or not ) , everything must atleast SOMEWHAT be the players fault , hell , even modpacks like RLCraft were still somewhat following that philosophy, but.... the horror mods are "haha , i am gonna sprint at mach 1 at you and kill you instantly and break blocks to reach you no matter what!!!!!!" , which is unfair
to give credit to the cave dweller , it was fairly innovative , BUT , its kinda like fortnite , it was good and innovative , but , it caused everything to copy it and every copy is almost always worse than fortnite
and yeah , thats my opinion , i'd like to know others opinion so comment it if you would want to , or don't , i am not your dad

Unpopular opinion: having multiple mod loaders (Forge, NeoForge, Fabric) has seriously affected Minecraft’s modding community. As a player, it’s exhausting to see great mods split across loaders and versions you don’t play. It’s frustrating, no matter the reasons behind it.

Sick of “progression” that’s just getting spawn camped over and over.
It’s so annoying when I download an RPG mod pack that claims to have a decent skill tree system, and questing system, but then you can’t attack mobs that are higher level, or whatever it’s based on. And then those mobs spawn EVERYWHERE. Tell me why I was thinking I could hit a creeper (with a regular wooden sword) and it tells me I have to be at least level FIVE to kill that mob. I would understand for like modded creatures and stuff in dungeons/underground. But some of these hostile modded mobs spawn above ground too, and don’t burn in the sun. So you’re literally just stuck until you can sprint past them, and then have to relocate because you can’t kill them until you get enough experience points. And whats with the crazy hard mobs spawning at coal level in caves? If I wanted to fight some eldritch beast that was going to murk me 100x I would’ve just played RLCraft.
