What we know for next time. Orange organizers are city office of violence prevention. They are foes. They use K mart to stage for 5th precinct.
A review of protesters response. Many backed up when ordered to leave but were met with a line of police coming from the direction they were told to go. This was an unconstitutional kettling event and we hope NLG brings that up when they discuss both of their advocates illegal arrests and the defense of the over 30 other folks arrested too. #forward

The reason this Kettling event is unconstitutional is because it was actively happening as the orders to disperse were given. For a kettle to be legal, there must be an opportunity to disperse. If you are being Kettled prior to the final order, the event is unconstitutional. #forward
