#Livestream: camera pointed at NLG represenatives in handcuffs. #forward
What was that about a constitution and first amendment rights? Seems like cops can just decide to ignore them anyway and force you to wait for a court date and receive no penalty
What we know for next time. Orange organizers are city office of violence prevention. They are foes. They use K mart to stage for 5th precinct.
A review of protesters response. Many backed up when ordered to leave but were met with a line of police coming from the direction they were told to go. This was an unconstitutional kettling event and we hope NLG brings that up when they discuss both of their advocates illegal arrests and the defense of the over 30 other folks arrested too. #forward
Also doesnt look like Minneapolis police care about social distancing with how many folks are being crammed into transport vehicles #forward
The reason this Kettling event is unconstitutional is because it was actively happening as the orders to disperse were given. For a kettle to be legal, there must be an opportunity to disperse. If you are being Kettled prior to the final order, the event is unconstitutional. #forward

We just reached 2000 followers! We appreciate the support from comrades! ❤️ The only thing that would be better is if you all were a part of this support team. check out t.me/scannertraining to learn how to listen to scanners and report effectively for an audience on the ground.
#Admin Updated count I have is 51 arrested during the kettling event. Some were innocent bystanders who were just passing by. Some were photographers/press. 2 were NLG legal observers.
#Admin I understand the feelings people have right now with fear over what happened last night. But this is nothing new. We have seen this type of thing happen in Minneapolis and other communities. We know the cops play dirty. For those who are uncomfortable, I hear you. This is not how police should be acting. They shouldn't be arresting people before the final warning like what happened. Lawyers providing legal services shouldn't be arrested. Photographers are free press no matter what organization they are with. But this doesn't stop here. We must work with our friends and families, and get them in the streets. We learned some new strategies that cops will use against us with fake organizers. So now we know how to respond. Less organizers. More self reliance. Less authority. More decentralized voices. More creativity. More diversity of tactics. and more communications. We have a public relay all of you are welcome to use. Please send any tips to @RUSTContactBot
Lets build groups in affinity with each other. Lets scout, lets listen on scanners. Lets live stream. Lets communicate and build up our cop watch together. Check out t.me/scannertraining if this interests you. We don't stop because the police play dirty.

As a reminder the only people who may legally watch the polls are volunteer poll workers. Voting should be private and folks should not be harassed on their way to do so. #forward http://strib.mn/3lBamop
