Update: What is going on with the price of BIP?

Wanted to provide our assessment of the current price action of Minter.Network.

The management team of Minter.Cash is involved with several crypto projects including Cardano. We are also a member of the BPSAA. Point being is we are very active in the United States crypto community -- our words are not just taken out of thin air, but out of our daily interactions.

There are two worlds in crypto: pump and hodl. Pump is about 90% of activity. Hodl is about 10%. Very very few people hodl. And that is where Minter is at. The project is a hodl. It is good technology, a solid team but to be honest the platform of DEX, trading, bridges is no longer sexy. The hot money has moved into NFTs. All of it.

Soon NFTs will be out.

Next is Meta.

We are seeing a mix of NFT and Meta as well. Very interesting. Might be part of the transition....

This is not a Minter specific problem. Cardano is in the same boat. Many other platforms are in the same boat.

We are not passing judgement on Minter, Cardano or others. This is just a very short assessment of what is really going on. Like it or not. Honestly we don't like it. We think NFTs are a joke--$1,000,000 USD for a jpg of a Monkey? Really. It will not last. It is a dangerous game.

Back to Minter. So with all the hot money focused on NFTs and soon Meta, you cannot expect BIP to moon (in our opinion). However the platform is solid, offers great utility with cross bridges etc. What we can hope for is the market realizes that Minter is a better option than Binance or Luna or others. The best way to achieve this is slow and steady progress which the team is delivering on.

The Minter/BIP price point has been very very stable -- this is very important. AND the fact it has a 40% ROI on hodl is AMAZING.

So sit back, watch the NFT/Meta fireworks (remember all fireworks burn out). Minter is your "safe space" -- enjoy that. Not many safe spaces in crypto these days that pay 40%.

Основните промени са свързани с токеномиката на БИП:

1. Динамичен майнинг
Цената на BIP спада, когато предлагането на монети на пазара превишава търсенето. За да намалим влиянието на този фактор, въвеждаме балансираща система за възнаграждение на блоковете, която намалява възнагражденията на блоковете, когато цената на BIP спадне, като по този начин помага да се избегне допълнителен излишък на BIP. В същото време, когато цената на BIP се повиши, балансьорът увеличава възнагражденията, за да увеличи максимално резултата от управлението.

2. Безплатно автоделегиране
В момента всички награди за делегиране се превеждат на адресите на делегаторите приблизително на всеки час. Автоделегирането ще промени тази механика, така че наградите автоматично да се стейкват, което ще доведе до увеличаване както на количеството стейка, така и на самите награди. За да получи наградите, потребителят ще трябва да извърши стандартна транзакция с ънбонд в необходимия брой монети.

3. Изгаряне на неразпределени награди от балансьора
Ако цената на BIP спадне рязко, балансьорът спира да разпределя възнагражденията на нелокализирани делегати и блоковите възнаграждения (до базовата стойност) се изгарят. Когато цената спре да пада, наградите за блокове ще се върнат към базовите си стойности и ще започнат да се разпределят както преди.

4. Изгаряне на комисиони за тикери
При създаването на нов токен потребителят заплаща такса за тикер, която зависи от дължината на токена - колкото по-кратък е тикерът, толкова по-висока е таксата. Вместо да бъде разпределена между валидаторите и техните делегати, тази комисиона ще бъде изгорена чрез изпращане до нула, което ще намали количеството BIP в свободно обращение.

5. Изкупуване и изгаряне на BIP
При обмен в рамките на ликвидния пул, BIPs ще се изкупуват и изгарят. Ще увеличим таксата за басейн от сегашните 0,2 % до средните за пазара 0,3 %. Доставчиците на ликвидност ще продължат да печелят 0,2 % от борсите в пула, а останалите 0,1 % ще се използват за обратно изкупуване на БИП и по-нататъшното му изгаряне.

6. Тригодишно заключване на стейка
С пускането на ъпгрейд на Minter 3 на потребителите ще бъде предложена нова опция за стейкинг. Те ще могат да изпращат своите BIP за делегиране с период на замразяване от 3 години и да получават 3 пъти по-високи възнаграждения. В същото време комисионите, събирани от валидаторите, няма да се увеличат. Потребителите няма да трябва да правят unbond, за да приложат тази функция.

7. Преместване на стейка на нов валидатор
Ще въведем транзакция MoveStake, която прехвърля стейка към новия валидатор. Процесът на прехвърляне ще отнеме 7 дни.

Чтобы обновление вступило в силу, валидаторам необходимо отдать свой голос. Проголосовать ЗА обновление можно в консоли – раздел "MASTERNODE", транзакция "VOTE FOR NETWORK UPDATE". Height: 10197000 (12 апреля 2022 года, ~15:00 МСК), Version: v300.

Владельцам нод необходимо обновить их до версии v3.0.0 до блока 10197000.

Обновление применится автоматически на блоке 10197000, если за него проголосует ⅔ сети (валидаторов).
