Minter Review

We launched a project for promote the Minter network — Minter Review.

Minter Review is both a platform for promoting Minter and a case for real use of blockchain capabilities.

We implement the concept of the talent economy, where any author can offer their article for publication in Minter Review and receive fair reward for their work in accordance with the quality indicators of the material. And this is based on the Minter blockchain.

Priorities and advantages of Minter Review:
• Content quality is the main thing
• Original articles from authors
• Reward to authors for results
• Articles on different topics and for different readers
• Getting new articles on reader-friendly social platforms
• Content in Russian and English from the moment of launch and in other languages in the future

Our goal is to bring the benefits of interacting with the Minter blockchain to the people who need it: developers, entrepreneurs, and enthusiasts.

Therefore, Minter Review goes beyond the already formed Minter community.

Show your activity by subscribing and commenting on articles in Minter Review, so it’ll be easier for new community members to start interacting with our Minter ecosystem.

Subscribe to the Minter Review channel and read the first article on “Why haven’t cryptocurrencies made people’s lives better? Internet of Money. Minter.” and write your comments under the post in the channel.

P.S. The rules of interaction with authors are being finalized, we’ll write about it.
MinterID has started to calibrate the ranking, so the next couple of days may be stormy.

Voting on the Network’s New Functionality

The Team and Validators have prepared several significant changes aimed to improve the network.

The first round lasts until June 23 and offers to add an option to “archive” the coins, allowing brands to re-use a particular ticker. This would substantially facilitate the onboarding of new customers and widen the blockchain’s possibilities.

The owner of the coin—i.e., creator address—will be the one to archive it. The creator rights, however, will be transferable. Archived coins will not be deleted, nor will their reserve be emptied. They will just change their name.

The voting also suggests setting the maximum number of validators to 64. Validators with small stakes (less than 1% of voting power) do not affect the decision-making process and decentralization of the network, but they slow it down drastically being equal participants of the consensus. The introduction of this limit would allow for the avoidance of extra loads with no losses.

The Team will proceed to develop the solution if the proposal is supported by a two-thirds validator majority.
