Pinpon's legal division has researched the regulatory landscape for loyalty points in Europe and America.

Just some of the questions answered:
• What is the nature of tokens used within Minter and Pinpon systems?
• What regulations apply to loyalty points?
• Is there a risk of triggering securities regulations by performing operations with tokens?
• Do Minter and Pinpon render regulated financial services?
• Should you seek legal help? (Just kidding, of course you should)

Minter Vault

Minter Global OÜ is proud to present a new service – Minter Global Vault. This service allows you to store your BIPs in our vault and receive premium treatment – we will delegate the deposited BIPs to the best validators hand-picked by us, so that you could receive the most upside of the Minter Network.

There are two main ways to get access to the Vault services. If you already have BIPs you wish to store in our Vault, you can send the request and deposit BIPs in the Vault. If you want to use the service but do not have enough BIPs at the moment, you can purchase BIPs from Minter Global under condition that they will be stored in the Vault for a predetermined time or until you need them.

An ERC20 Ethereum token – MVT (Minter Vault Token) – will be provided to you as a receipt that proves the amount you have deposited in our vault. You can store the MVT tokens in the secure storage of your own choice and transfer them freely between your addresses, so that when you are in need of BIPs, you can provide us with the MVTs and receive the deposited BIPs plus the block rewards minus our fees, that are limited to a small percentage of the block rewards.

MVTs are created every time a new BIP deposit is made to the Vault. Initially, delegation of 1 BIP was to be confirmed by the issuance of 1 MVT. Since the amount of BIPs in the Vault is constantly rising due to the delegation mechanics and accumulation of the block rewards, but new MVTs are only issued when BIPs are deposited directly by our customers, the amount of BIPs that can be redeemed for 1 MVT is also rising. The current redemption rate of MVP is calculated as division of the total amount of BIPs in the Vault by the total amount of MVPs issued.

When you deposit your BIPs or request a withdrawal, you will receive or would have to provide an amount of MVTs as calculated based on the current redemption rate. In next 12 months we can expect up to +100% increase of the redemption rate due to the network's rewards and compound percentage of redelegation. We will publish a special web page in few days where anyone can check current balances of both Minter and Ethereum holdings, as well as BIP/MVT ratio.

The first transaction in the Vault took place on August 24, 2020: 30 million BIPs have been sent to our multi-sig Vault, while 30 million MVTs have been issued and distributed to the depositing customers: https://etherscan.io/token/0xc8218f0599b648e8c1436802fe30f0cbab4d97e2

The event will be held on Friday, August 28, 2020, at 3:00 p.m. UTC in our official group.

• Authors of the best two questions asked live (during the AMA) will get 10,000 and 5,000 MVTs, respectively.
• Authors of the best two questions asked via our Twitter thread (before the AMA) will also get 10,000 and 5,000 MVTs, respectively.

See you!

🛡 Minter Vault 101

Minter Vault is a storage that users send their BIP coins into, getting MVT receipt tokens instead. But what’s MVT? How does it work? And why would someone even need it?

Find out in our latest guide.
What if there were a solution like Amazon Web Services but for minting coins? Like PayPal or Venmo but for buying digital goods and services with loyalty points? Like Visa or MasterCard but for merging them all into a Global Rewards Network . . ?

The release of the global version of Minter Coins

We are glad to announce that Minter Coins is available globally.

The service has been fully translated to English, and for the payment method we chose PayPal — one of the most convenient, reliable and widespread payment methods in the world.

You can pay for your plan to create your very own brand coin by just logging into your PayPal account, or without registering using a credit card.

P.S. On the global version of the website payments from all countries except Russia are accepted.

Minter Coins — expand the community, improve its loyalty and activity using your own brand coin.

How does it work?

The main feature of the service is a simple and fast creation of your own brand coins, with which you can reward your subscribers and customers for various activities.

We have worked out many cases of using brand coins, you will be able to:

• Reward any activity
• Pay out prizes
• Gift coins
• Make offers available to purchase using only these coins
• Receive coins in exchange for your goods and services
• Get support (donations)

So, how do you use it?

1. Go to the coin creating page in the Minter Coins service — https://mintercoins.com/create
2. Select the appropriate plan, the symbol and the name of the coin
3. Pay the plan, create a coin and start using it interacting with your community

Brand coins are a completely new tool for brand interaction with its audience. Major companies such as Reddit, one of the most visited social platforms, and FC Barcelona are already implementing brand coins in their loyalty systems.

With Minter Coins any blogger, community or brand can create their own coin. Be among the first😎
I’m currently working on a project that will let you manage many blockchains at once from a single interface. Say, you want to create a token to reward your community. You go to this page, set some basic settings, and boom—you have it in a secure environment with options like ‘Allocate 100 Minter-based coins so they can be easily managed by users on a super-fast network and used to pay for gift cards’ or ‘Issue 1000 coins as ERC-20 Ethereum tokens and add them to Uniswap V2 with USDT liquidity so they can be traded.’ With this solution, you get all the benefits of several blockchains via a one-stop interface with no need to learn how to work with any of them. Just tap the button, and your token can be used as money; tap again—and it’s trading and has a price . . .

Blockchains are as good as their best practices adopted by the masses: Minter is for rewards, Ethereum for DeFi, Filecoin for storage, EOS may compute something, while Bitcoin will act as a vault. There will be so many chains and other DLTs that you better be below the Layer 1, in a Control Center of your token, so you can easily migrate from one to another as market and your needs evolve,

Long story short: I’m looking for a code name for this #Layer0 project. Please submit your ideas, and I will give 5 POPEs for the one I like most.

Thanks!
Minter is a global rewards and loyalty points network powered by a fast blockchain.

But how exactly do you create one of those?

In our latest read, you’ll find

• and Twitter integration example,

along with the technicalities of
• accepting your own coin for goods and services,
• building a cashback program around it,
• and using it to grant exclusive access or rank users.
