After the riots, gangs of Muslim invaders rioted through the Cronulla, Brighton-Le-Sands and Maroubra areas, beating any White Australians they saw and smashing car and shop windows, a White man was also stabbed in Woolooware.
The day after the riot, there was also talk of threats against the Lakemba Mosque, which resulted in over 2800 invaders gathering to protect it, some even armed with Glock pistols, but no attack happened. The Uniting Church in Auburn, which was right next to an Islamic centre was also burned down and those attending for Christmas carols were abused and threatened by Muslims. Gun shots were also fired at parked cars during Christian Church services. More than 30 molotov cocktails were seized by police.

On this day, 17 years ago, over 5000 Anglo-Australians assembled in Cronulla, NSW to reclaim the beach from Muslim invaders after a group of Lebanese men assaulted volunteer Surf Life Savers at a beach in Cronulla.
