Tony Blair instructing impatient Labour politicians right now....
A.I is producing art like this and everyone is like ''Yeah it'll be fine having society run by the machines''
You've got to laugh at how scummy the UK media is, this isn't an accident, it's like a smack across the back of her head as she leaves office.
They threw her out because she had crazy ideas like actually doing what the Tories promised their voters they'd do.
This is a retarded point.
The AI is not trying to make something ''horrific'' it is simply indifferent to what the amalgamation of images produces.

In the same way if you have AI running society it will seek to install systems of efficiency regardless of how humans actually are or behave. It is the ''indifference'' to the human form which is startling it has nothing to do with ''fretting'' over scary pictures.

Morgoth is correct here. The horror of AI is the indifference. "Indifference" doesn't even adequately describe it. The AI has no idea what it's doing. It has zero capacity to think about what it produces at all.

Even in Boomer Truth media, they still talk about small acts of kindness, like Nazis giving kids chocolate bars 🍫. An AI isn't even capable of that. The AI is the ultimate anti-individual or anti-person. No internal thought process, no ability to question or deviate from its ideology or programming, no "personhood" at all.

My biggest issue with AI art is that it's hollow. It lacks a variety of distinct styles even with different programs. That's because people only gave it a prompt rather than putting in the time, the focus, and the discipline it takes to actually paint something by hand. I want to see the brush strokes, the movement, the perspective of the artist, even the mistakes...

To me, even the most beautiful AI art looks empty and devoid of any real creative spark. I'm not sure I would even consider it art. I've played around with it, and it can be fun, but it's still just a shortcut. Sometimes a shortcut isn't always the best way forward.

I'd much rather see people exercise their imaginations on their own and then developing a craft to translate what they envision. There is more life in something that is created that way.
This post pretty much saves me from having to write an article against AI ''art'.(Though I still might)

A commenter uses Francisco Goya's Saturn eating his children as an example of men creating disturbing imagery through art. This is to miss the point, Goya's painting, while gruesome, encompasses Greek and Roman mythology, it hints at the ravages of war in Spain and was also the late (and private) work of an old man contemplating his own mortality.

In other words, it is emphatically human! it is an expression of a consciousness.

An equally gruesome, or for that matter pleasant, AI graphic represents nothing whatsoever, you're staring into the void.

Or, at best, a pretty picture representing nothing.
Microsoft finally opened the portal that allows the demons to enter our reality.
What this also tells you is that it's pretty obvious gay marriage was a top-down agenda and nothing whatsoever to do with responding to ''rights'' or the wishes of the general public.

When I see pubs like this now I think of Jonathan Bowden delivering speech on metaphysics and Heidegger to steel workers and hard lads.

White privilege theory will exist as long as their careers depend on it existing, the fact that it doesn’t match reality hardly seems to matter at all.
