Q: What is Elrond?
A: Elrond is a novel blockchain platform that implements Adaptive State Sharding and Secure Proof of Stake to solve scalability and efficiency problems in the blockchain space. Elrond is also EVM compatible, opening the door for cross-chain interoperability and development.

Q: I like Elrond, what are the next steps forward?
A: Elrond has just emerged from stealth mode a few days ago. We are currently working on several fronts to address 1) the technical development, 2) community building, 3) legal structure and 4) strategic matters.

Q: When will the prototype be ready?
A: We are working hard on releasing the prototype and will give frequent updates as we make progress. Our current preliminary estimate was that by the end of Q2(end of June) we should have this released. However judging by our current pace of progress, we may be able to release it a bit sooner.

Q: Why are the releases of the testnet and mainnet so far apart?
A: Every date in our roadmap is at this point preliminary and will likely be subject to change. We expect to update our roadmap with slightly more optimistic estimates once our prototype is out.

Q: Where is your project incorporated?
A: We are currently in the process of incorporating Elrond in Zug, Switzerland.

Q: Will there be an ICO?
A: This is a long term, high growth project, so we will take our time to set a solid foundation for subsequent growth to be as fast as possible. What this means in practice, is that we are currently extremely focused on our prototype and technical architecture, so ICO related details and token metrics will likely be released only subsequent to the prototype launch.

Q: I want to be part of your presale, what do I need to do?
A: Thank you for your interest in our project. You can write us an email and express interest at contact@elrond.network. As soon as we'll have details ready, we'll let you know.

Q: Your website is empty on the adviser side, do you have any advisers?
A: The adviser part has been intentionally left open. As mentioned in our medium post, starting next week we will begin a series of written interviews on every team member, and will also start releasing various information about advisers and partners we are working with.

Q: We are here and notice Elrond has serious potential, how can we help?
A: First you can start spreading the word. Second, join us in being an active community member. Third, we'll soon start head hunt for smart, ambitious and self-motivated people who would like to join us in our quest. The people we are looking for should be able to display evidence of exceptional ability in mathematics, general computer science, high level programming, artificial intelligence, blockchain architectures, game theory and crypto economics. Hello everyone, I would to thank you for your continuous support. It has been a challenging week, but as promised we are progressing, and would like to share some of the results with you.

[1] Regarding the prototype, the first part of Elrond Core is almost ready. We can now process transactions and submit blocks to the chain. The first set of successful transaction have been performed yesterday. This is still early, and several other components need to be added, but we are progressing steadily toward our prototype release.

[2] As per our legal structure, we are now officially incorporated in Zug, Switzerland.

[3] Advisors: announcements of several advisors are are being prepared and are pending legal agreements. We will hopefully have this ready by Wednesday. Thanks again to everyone for being so supportive, and stay tuned for more announcements in the coming week.
