With each passing week we are getting closer to the #Elrondmainnet 🔥

All focus is on the three necessary criteria for launch: prestaking, security audits & 15 day stability test. Here's an overview on staking, validators, and our game 👇🏻

Excited to have achieved 75% of our staking security goal, having >3.7 Bil $ERD staked via our prestaking smart contract. The ongoing audits have produced some interesting findings, and the audit phase should be done by the end of February.

The validator network is beginning to shape up in preparation for the Genesis block. We are proud to see several members of our community rising to the occasion & preparing to become infrastructure providers. Several other professional validators are aiming to support Elrond.

Starting with next week, community members will be able to test the native Elrond mainnet wallet, generating Elrond mainnet addresses, and testing everything in preparation for the staking and delegation process.

Battle of Elrond, our Samsung exclusive Mobile PvP game, which uses $ERD as in-game currency and rewards, has been submitted for approval via the Samsung's publishing process. Looking forward to do a battle alongside you soon.

We have built Elrond to be compatible with Ethereum's EVM, adding complementary tools and 30% smart contract royalties, enabling devs to deploy existing products on the #Elrondmainnet as well.

We are ~2 weeks away from doing the first feature freeze, finishing the security audits & releasing the next step for staking & delegation, so we're pushing hard to get ready for the final trial by fire BoN challenge. Once 15 days pass w/o interruption Elrond Genesis is ready!

We've talked a lot about Elrond's vision, and now the Elrond Network is almost ready for launch!

The popular Personal finance portal CardRates.com has just published a comprehensive article about Elrond in their news section. The article compares Elrond’s 1000x improvements over existing blockchains with the internet’s move from dial-up to broadband.

It is very encouraging to see a story about blockchain break into mainstream finance media. Decentralized Finance products are obviously seen as valuable tools for improving personal finance, and the quest for the fastest, most secure and inexpensive blockchain to run them is a topic of interest.

Preparing the #Elrondmainnet launch is like putting final touches on building a machine that builds other machines. The levels of complexity involved are daunting, yet once live, its implications will redefine blockchain from a merely cool tech to an indispensably useful one

Navigating this complexity, pushing the several implemented features into the main branch, and solving countless tricky bugs seems like an uphill battle, but one right before reaching the top of a breathtaking mountain.

It's difficult, but gratifying to have the top in sight.

Our prestaking process is going well: >75% of staking goal reached & top tier rewards unlocked. Launching w/ 1.500 nodes would mean ~2.5mn ERD per node. The next step will involve using our new Elrond wallet to generate a native mainnet ERD address. Testing it internally now.

We went through an intensive process of compiling the Elrond economic map which has been submitted for an audit. The auditors will deliver their findings and feedback next week.

As soon as feedback is received we will begin a community discussion on the Elrond economic model.

As pieces of our puzzle come together, one of the first & most powerful apps we'll build on Elrond, is a maximally useful version of money, one you can transfer globally, in an instant, and at negligible cost 🌏
