There are only 2 playoff spots remaining. The spots for the winner of the NFC South and the winner of the AFC North. If the Steelers and Panthers win today and the Bucs lose, all 14 spots will be taken. Panthers play Seahawks and Bucs play Dolphins so the likelihood of both the Panthers winning and the Bucs losing is small.

49ers just beat the Bears without Kittle, Williams, Aiyuk, Bosa, or Warner. Shanahan for coach of the year.

The Niners having lost Nick Bosa and Fred Warner early on, having played big chunks of the season without Brock Purdy and George Kittle, having no Brandon Aiyuk all year, and after an offseason cap purge ... are now 12-4.


If the 49ers win next week and get the No. 1 seed then Kyle Shanahan is the Coach of the Year, what an unbelievable job he’s done this season.
