A few take aways from the spring water deep dive…
-The French word for Spring is Source.
-The best and coldest springs are higher up - often on the top of mountains.
-The water emerging from Springs can be thousands of years old.
-Municipalities do a great job of filtering biological contaminants but they don’t do much about agricultural contaminants which can be harmful to consume over time.
-There is often many pharmaceutical drugs found in tap water - get a filter or be a filter.
-Vitalis prefers calling it “Wild Water” or “Unprocessed Water” - just like “unprocessed food”
-There is fluoride in wild water but it’s much different than the fluoride that is often added to tap water which is really bad news.
-An analogy they spoke about with regards to choosing your water supply - imagine a fish swimming in a tank of pristine clean water that is fed low quality food vs a fish swimming in poor quality water that is eating good quality food. The fish in the clean water will be much better off.
