No Blood Tests.
No Diabetes Test.
No Stress Testing.
No Manual Exams.
No Cervical Exams.
No Weigh-Ins.
No Iron Supplements.
No Fetal Surveillance.
No Doctor/OBGYN.
No Medications.
A lot of naked suntime.
A lot of animal foods.
Lots of coconut oil.
Lots of walking.
Just me, J, and baby. The way my Grandma did it. The way my Great Grandma did it. The way that all women, deep in their bones, know how to do it.
Yes, there are risks to birthing outside of the system. There’s big risks to birthing within it too. There’s RISK either way, so just do it your way, whatever that may be.

It’s been easy, textbook, bliss. I understand some women have really terrible pregnancies too, emotionally and physically. But I really can’t help myself from enjoying this + celebrating. 🥰
May God’s grace cover us for a safe and healthy home birth. I still have fears, but I am ready to face them.
