Crazy to think about the increase in Truck prices in Alberta since we got the Tacoma. Wonder if boat prices have increased here in MX...? 🤔 Or if we’d be jumping from an inflated item to a not-yet-inflated item.

'A sudden cardiac arrest can affect anyone': Vancouver to place 1,000 AEDs throughout city
The City of Vancouver approved a motion earlier this month that will place 1,000 Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs), as well as first aid supplies, throughout the city.
Well, I’m a few days past modern society’s arbitrary “due date” and in this scenario, I’m just happy to have placed myself far away from the Alberta Medical System. They would have been pressuring a 39 or 40 week induction, when it’s been obvious to me throughout my entire pregnancy that baby was slow and steady. (And 42 weeks was previously well known as a safe and normal due date for many women, as recently as the 1980s)
Artificial Induction is one of the primary actions/choices that could lead a woman into an emergency c-section. Baby + body know the timing, if it’s forced through drugs, strange events can unfold, and the chance that labour will start but not progress is high. Not always, but it can occur.
I’m grateful I have the support here to stay the course, and not rush the natural process.
BUT...it is getting harder to sleep at night. My energy is through the roof, have been editing videos, feeling creative, and it’s hard to sleep when every night feels like it could be Christmas Eve. 🎁 👶 🎁
