I think a lot of technology/baby products thwarts the chance for new parents to fully develop themselves.
✨Outsourcing rocking/bouncing to an electronic chair or crib (a) exposes baby to sleeping/resting surrounded by Electronics. (b) the parents miss the chance to grow strong in their back and arms and get to know their baby’s rhythm, likes and dislikes (c) baby misses out on hundreds of hours of sync with the parents body, and nervous system calming effects that we can’t see or quantify.
✨Outsourcing baby monitoring to a camera could be useful for certain scenarios. Say you operate a small acreage and there are moments that both parents must be outside. But say there was an actual emergency while baby was sleeping...would you really want to be those 5 minutes away? Isn’t the parent/baby dyad or triad just designed so that there is always one parent within ear shot of baby? Or not even ear shot, just within our range of sensing (sonor) of one another. Develop it!
