I feel like I should explain why some devices are abandoned, or have problems, or have missing features etc, given the frequent questions about them.

Once again I need to mention, the Only device I have is mondrian, Poco F5 Pro (header v4, a/b with recovery partition), so I can only test on that, the closer a device is to mondrian spec wise or generation wise, the easier it is for me to work on it

With that said, this is the status for some devices:
Vayu (header v2, legacy): works fine, but doesn't decrypt data on some roms due to them using casefolding, it just needs a kernel update, if you know a kernel that supports erofs, casefolding and non-casefolding let me know

haydn/mars/odin/renoir/star/venus/mojito (header v3, recovery as boot), I don't have any header v3 device, and those need many hacks to get them working properly, I cannot test any of those, so I can't work on any of them

lemonade/lemonadep/alioth: same as above, but those have been picked up by other maintainers, check them out

enchilada: tbh I just never had time to work on it again, it shouldn't be much work, but does anyone care about it?

guacamole (header v2, recovery as boot), needs a bit of work, problem is somewhat similar to vayu's problem but more complicated to fix due to recovery as boot, biggest problem is lack of testers, I also considered getting the device myself but couldn't find a used one for a decent price, I likely won't work on it unless I can get the device

As most of you know, home is fucked currently, and that has brought me a lot of headaches (well, more than the usual) and that's been taking most of my time this month.
That's why I wasn't online much here, while most things are still not resolved, I can now spare some time to work on 14, and I will be starting soon, so hopefully within January you will see some updates for a few devices.

Hello everyone,

it's been a while since the last update from my side,

I'm okay, I haven't touched anything android in quite a while and I don't know when I'll be able to get myself to work on stuff again, including TWRP, there's really no reason for it other than just not feeling like it, I had only been doing it because I enjoyed working on those things, and I just don't feel excited about it anymore, might just be ADHD.

I've been focusing on my mental health lately, and what to do for the future, I can't really make any promises, I've been a part of this community for a very long time, it has certainly had a great influence on my life over the years including all the great people I've met and worked with, even this very group which is quite older than most of you think, which had many purposes long before any work I had done on TWRP.
