How to avoid machine learning pitfalls: a guide for academic researchers

Capybara is considered fish: Good news for those observing Lent
In the 1500s the Catholic Church classified the capybara as a fish so its meat could be eaten on Fridays during Lent. It is actually a rodent.

Question: When someone asks me what's up or how am I or how am I doing, I answer thank you. And it's strange for them and they feel I'm making fun of them. But I'm not. If I say I'm good, it's a lie because I'm not good. And if I say I'm not good they'll ask why. And I have to explain but I don't have any explanations plus that they will think I'm always bad.
ChatGPT Answer:
I understand your dilemma. It's okay to not be okay and it's okay to not have an explanation for why. When someone asks you "how are you?", they are often just making small talk and don't expect a detailed answer. In these situations, you could try saying something like "I'm hanging in there" or "just taking it one day at a time". This acknowledges that you're not necessarily okay, but also doesn't require you to go into detail about why.
Alternatively, you could try redirecting the conversation to the other person and ask how they are doing. This can take the pressure off of you to answer the question and shift the focus to the other person.
Remember that it's okay to take care of yourself and not feel obligated to put on a facade for others. If you need support, consider talking to a trusted friend or mental health professional.
here are some alternative responses you can use when someone asks how you're doing:
"I'm doing okay, thanks for asking."
"I've been better, but I'm hanging in there."
"I'm just taking it one day at a time."
"I'm surviving, thanks for asking."
"It's been a challenging day, but I'm managing."
"I'm doing as well as can be expected, thanks."
"I'm feeling a bit overwhelmed, but I'll get through it."
"I'm not great, but I appreciate you asking."
"I've had better days, but I'm trying to stay positive."
"I'm doing okay, how about you?"
"Just trying to stay positive."
"I've been better, but I'm managing."
"I'm coping, thanks for asking."
"It's been a bit of a rough patch, but I'm getting through it."
"I'm getting by, how about you?"
"I'm holding up, thanks for asking."
"I'm not great, but I appreciate your concern."
"I've had better days, but I'm still pushing through."
"I'm doing okay, just trying to stay focused on the positive."
"I'm taking it day by day, but I appreciate you asking."
"I'm living the dream"
