📰 Telegram 12.1 on iOS adds the ability to add notes to your contacts. 📝 This is essentially a second bio, but differs in that it can be up to 128 characters long and is visible only to you. To add a note, simply edit your contact.
👾 The feature borrowed from Discord is gradually being rolled out to all users during the beta version.

#failure 📰 Domain Link Previews t.me stopped being generated. However, previews of old links can be provided, and the links themselves are fully functional.

📰 Bugs have been fixed in the next Telegram 12.1 build on iOS:
- breaking the toolbar when selecting contacts;
- breaking the message input field in horizontal orientation;
- open context menu in toolbar if you hold and move the so-called "bubble";
- the icon has been changed (in fact, only for the testflight page).
Some interface elements have not been switched to Liquid Glass.

📰 Version 12.1 will introduce the ability to suggest birthday dates to your contacts. 🗓 Contacts can choose their own birthday, distinct from your suggested ones. To suggest a birthday date, open your contact's edit screen and click the appropriate button. This feature works even if the contact has previously set a birthday but is hidden from you.

📰 What would an update be without gifts? In 12.1, all the new features related to gifts are:
• For 1000 stars, you can remove denoscription (sender/date/comment) from a gift that hasn't been minted to the blockchain.
• An indicator of the remaining number of possible premium gift sends directly in the "Send Gift" menu.
• The last date of a unique gift sent to you and the date of a rare gift you were given before it was upgraded.
• Detailed information about the price reduction for gift upgrades - the exact date and time of the next and final price reduction.
