Thinking of making the jump to Nikon from Fuji need some clarifications
I have been shooting Fuji for couple of years now, Started my photography with XT30 then switched to used XT5. Having 1 sigma standard zoom and couple of Fuji primes ( which i can sell in the used market ) . I have loved my time with it, with the compact nature of camera and lightweight lenses, film simulations and the shooting experience. Though as i get more into street photography and using manual mode the dials are not helping for easily changing settings while using the viewfinder, and I feel i miss some shots due to the lack of ability to quickly switch between PASM modes. Which basically means I am not fond of what people call "retro" shooting experience.
Coming to Auto Focus Having never tried other systems / Full frames i was always wondering why everyone was complaining about the auto focus until I tried the Nikon Z6III in a showroom - mind blow how it latched and tracked subjects with precision. And surpised how similar in weight they are with XT5 for being a full frame. And surprised by the amount of features available for the price
I thought of Sony and Canon too, but comparing the prices vs features i settled on Nikon, here are my options with the black friday sale going on. Also i shoot mainly photos
* Nikon Z5ii + 24-70mm F4 Kit + Nikkor Z 40mm F2 for 2800 SGD ( 2150 USD) - Fun fact this whole set is just 200S$ more than XT5 Body only price in Singapore
* Nikon Z6iii + 24-70mm F4 Kit for 3500 SGD (2700 USD)
Nikon Zf ruled out for me because i dont want the dials.
Questions :
* Will XT5 to Z5ii be a downgrade especially on the megapixels and image quality? Should i go with Z6iii ?
* Are there good affordable & compact full frame lenses in Nikon. I searched online and there were some Z options and some cheap F mount options, got confused on them
* Anyone did the similar switch as me, what has been your experience with Nikon so far ?

Wildlife & Birding Upgrade what be better? Nikon z 600 f/6.3 or Nikon z 400 f/4.5
I currently use 180-600mm for wildlife and birding... I feel like its time to upgrade to a prime lens... I find myself mostly birding (like owls and eagles etc)... I do like doing mammals but not to many by me... but I just moved and yellowstone or grand tetons not to far from me so hopefully I can get more mammals... I will also be in africa over the summer and be doing a safari (Namibia)... I own a 1.4x teleconverter also (which in theory could pair with 400 nicely or the 600)... what would all recommend? Thank You!
