ZF as every day carry?
Hello,
I’m currently debating between getting a Nikon ZF or going with Fuji xt30iii for the smaller body size. I’m just looking for your opinions on the ZF over the last 2 years since it’s been out as a bring everywhere shoot everything camera? Would you recommend this camera as an every day carry type of device? Does the camera size coupled with FF lenses ever make you not want to take it along in favor of something smaller? Or doesn’t it really matter? Maybe I’m just overthinking it 😅.
The reason why it’s hard for me to decide is cos I have small hands like even for a 5’1” female I’m told they’re small and all the reviews I’ve watched of the ZF all say you have to expect it to be heavy because it’s hefty and rather big? And these are all like average to large size men saying this and they have big hands (at least compared to mine) so if it feels heavy and big to them will it just be awful for me? Lol 😂
I usually shoot an OM System OM-3 with 17mm 1.4 but compared to the ZF I think this is quite small? I haven’t been able to find a ZF in store to hold it in person and looking at camera size schematics online doesn’t really make it click in my brain sadly.
I was planning to pair the ZF with thypoch lenses and some vintage glass too and maybe the 40mm f2 cos it’s small and my friend who has it says it’s great.
