Happy Wife

Hey y'all. A few months ago my wife asked to go thrifting for a cheap camera for family pics, and I secretly went down the rabbit hole to surprise her with one for Christmas. She's always wanted a camera but never had one before.

After creeping around this forum and lots of tiktok i ended up getting her a z5ii with two lenses, 24-120S and the 50mm 1.8 S. I never owned a camera before so I blind bought after reading about your experiences.

I deploy soon, and yesterday we took the kids to the zoo with her new camera. She loves it!! Thank you all. Hope y'all had a great holiday, and have a good new year. If there is any other accessories you feel I can get her, please post below.

Am I crazy? Nikon ZR for photos?

Hey all.

So I shoot the Nikon Z5 II. Would like a second camera and a smaller setup/additional body. All the offerings are quite pricey. Ricoh GR4 at $1500. Fuji X100VI at $1799.

Lens wise I use the Viltrox 20, 40 and 135 1.8.

Would I be stupid to consider throwing a 26mm f2.8 on the ZR for mainly photos? Or stick to something else? I could use my other lenses and batteries if I stayed Nikon. I like the appeal of the large screen
